Kerala Itinerary
DAY 1
After picking you up in Cochin, drive to Munnar. Savor some waterfalls and picturesque natural areas while traveling. Check into your hotel upon arrival in Munnar, then unwind for the remainder of the day. There will be plans for an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2
Take a day trip to view the local sights after breakfast. Munnar is 1600 meters above sea level and is located at the meeting point of three mountain streams, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale. The British administration used to spend their summers at this magnificent hill station in South India. Visits to Kundale Lake, Echo Point, and Mattupetty Dam are among the local sightseeing attractions in Munnar. Proceed to Rajamalai in the afternoon to see the “Nilgiri Thars,” the rarest kind of mountain goat. A stay of one night is planned in Munnar.
DAY 3
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and drive to the hotel to check in. Proceed to Thekkady, one of the most remarkable wild life reserves in the world, for a sightseeing tour. 360 sq km of the 777 sq km Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady are covered in dense, evergreen forest. The sanctuary, which is renowned for its geomorphology, wildlife richness, and natural beauty, was designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Extra fees apply to optional activities including riding an elephant, seeing a spice plantation, and going boating in Periyar Lake. There is a planned overnight stay in Thekkady.
DAY 4
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and make your way to Alleppey. Take a classic houseboat overnight backwater trip that is sure to fascinate you. Lunch is served on the cruise, and check-in is at 1:00 PM. As you glide over these floating luxury villas, your eyes will be drawn to the uncommon and odd. You will pass by old temples, swaying coconut palms, bowed-down rice fields, Chinese fishing nets, and locals producing coir goods. There will be food service aboard. Spend the night in the alleppey.
